I need some T P for my Guide Rod !
-- I shot with the EXTREME Rod in place today, and I wish I could say that I had installed a point on it. But, the rod performed well, as expected. We practiced at Range USA in Memphis. I shot my XD a whole lot better than the 2 policemen next to me shot their Sigs. They had some wild shots. We also rented a Kimber, and I was impressed. Very accurate--Ragged holes. Shot my dad's Glock 23 -- has a good trigger, good accuracy. Shot my P-32 -- BAD, long TRIGGER -- but, kept shots very close. My XD-40, however, was the only one with an EXTREME Guide Rod ! |

Would a little bayonet style blade at the tip be legal though? I would definitely buy one if it came out right this second. Ooh and then throw on an M6 Tactical on there and you have yerself the ultimate survival gun.

Hey Don, have you done the math to figure how long a Tungsten guide rod would have to be to completely eliminate muzzle flip? If it was less than, say.....4 feet (and $1500) I might buy one.

Maybe you could screw on a long dampener made for target archery, willbond.
Or, attach a boat anchor and then throw it downrange a few feet when you are ready to shoot. EXTREME possibilities... |
