diy bi-tone?
I picked up a xd40 last week and it has seen its better days the finish on the slide is not good but its not terrible I was wondering if the treatment to the slide was deep enough to strip the black off of it and still stay rust free I know it can be done to a glock but I have never seen it done to an xd. Also would powdercoating be a good option for a pistol or not my boss has all the equipment to powdercoat and would do it free of charge.

Go back in the threads a week or so, there was at least one with different guns posted, and how they did it. Guns looked nice.
