I'm working on my good reason for my ccw. I live in California so it's got to be something good. I would like for everyone to look at it and let me know what you think and don't hold back if it's crap let me know it is and why if you would please.

I'd leave out the sentence about never being threatened.
Let them make up their own reasons without any help from you if they decide to nit pick.
Other than that, it looks good to me, but i live in CT where you don't even need to give a reason other than "all lawful purposes."

Of course, you might want someone else to proof read your statement so they don't disapprove it for suspected mental reasons or suspicion of you being a 12 year old.

I think you're going to have to do much better than that. Also make certain that your spelling and grammar is perfect.

If your application looks like it was written up by the slack jawed product of seven generations of vertical in-breeding you will most likely get rejected out of hand.

Learn where the shift key is. Then learn how to use it. Learn where the punctuation marks are and learn how to use them. Use a spell checker.

And the same pretty much goes for ALL written communication you do.

Most of us will never meet you in person. The only thing we have to judge you on is how well you express yourself using the written language.

I know I can't spell and my grammer is bad. But, when I go to write it for my app. it will be a lot better. My wife is an English major so I'll have her go through it and nit pick my spelling and grammer.

It's foolish that you have to provide any justification other than "It's my right" but I'll try to help you jump through the hoops.

Think of anything that might put you at risk in your current career. Do you keep strange hours, transport large amounts of cash or other valuable materials, does your work take you through strange areas of town.

Definitely bring up your military background and extensive safety training.

Do you belong to any churches or orginizations that might be targeted by hate groups.

Make sure to research your claim and back it up with hard cold evidence.

I.E (I Belong to group X which was specifically targeted by violent extremists on (Date 1, Date 2, Date 3) for the following reasons. These attacks have caused me to fear for the safety of my family and my self, and should provide ample justification for obtaining the means to protect myself.

Well at the time I'm unemployed while i got to college. Now, I am wiccan and I'm not sure but I might be able to find something on that. Other than that the only real thing I can think of is that I am ex military nuculare security and because of that i fear that someone might one day think that they want to go after the nukes and need someone that know the security for them.

I was just thinking about it and i realze something. About a year and a half ago my college started teaching a Witchcraft and Religoun class. When this happened there was a perosn that send a letter to the editor of are papper saying things like: they should not tach witch craft at a community college, it is people worshipping staintin. Things like that. Maby i can use that artical to show that there is hatred right here in my county to my religous group.
