any benefits with captured/uncaptured guide rods?
Title says it...Mainly when shooting are there any benefits to either design? If so, which is better?
Thanks Matt |

To my mind, the biggest advantage to the non-captured spring type is the ability to change recoil springs, thus allowing me to tailor my spring to the load that I am shooting. Or to replace a worn spring.
