Where to buy?

Hey fellas,
I went to the local firearms dealer today to price an xd9 service. He said the cheapest he could do was $540. Is there somewhere else that I could get one cheaper? (I'm in northeast missouri) I have heard people talking about $420-450. Also, are there different options for sights that come on one from the factory when you order it?

Thanks in advance!

im in CA and i paid around 575-600 for each of mine then about 100 for the night sights, so for me you are getting a decent price but others will say they paid less.

Thanks for the input. I have heard Bass Pro has them for $499, but it would cost that to drive to the nearest one and back. I may just have to pay the man. Will the gun and kit come with one or two magazines?

Good Luck and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the info. The forum has helped me out quite a bit already. I've been lurking around for a few days learning

Welcome to the forum. Try gun shows -- you can sometimes find good deals. If you can't find a better deal or there isnt a gun show around you soon enough, then I'd say its worth the extra $

Look online...gunbroker.com or gunsamerica.com. You can get them in the low $400's and it will be cheaper adding in the shipping and FFL fee. If you buy out of state, there isn't any sales tax.

I just ordered a XD9 Tactical and XD9 SC from a local FFL for $945. Got a bit of a break for buying two guns at once. XD9 Tac is $499 and XD9SC is $469 locally here in AZ.

The dealer said that he could get alot better deal if he ordered 10 guns or more, but he couldn't move that many. Are the gun shops you all are buying from ordering these things in bigger numbers to be able to sell them so cheap?

The guy I bought mine from runs his FFL out of his house. My guns are the only two he's ordering on that shipment from his distributor. He did say he was buying them through RSR, because they were $25-$30 cheaper than getting them from Davidson whom he also uses.

Also, Davidsons doesn't even list the XD9 Tactical in Desert Earth as its a newer offering.
