I got his 45gap OD GREEN this is the first one release to the general public. Its a sweet looking gun it makes me want to order one for my self now but my GF said no. When he gets it tomorrow I want him to post his pics with his family. Heres some pics of my xd45gaps playing with eds new baby.

Oh yea I was thinking about doing a group buy of 45gap mags the distributers have them in stock. Say 20 bucks each shipped. Any one interested. These are also the first released to the dealers and they have my name on them. So dealer price plus shipping.

Yea, I am a little anxious to get my grubby hands on it and
launch a round or two down range. Thanx for letting me be
the first owner of an SA-XD OD 45GAP 4" service model.

I do nothing to my machines except shoot them. Well, not all
of them as there are 1 or 2 or 3 that are still NIB unfired watching
each other in the darkness of a safe

So... how many 9mm will those mags hold?

The bitone is not quite avilable yet in the gap the od green is the second release of the gaps, the bitone is next. And the mags feed lips are so far apart that the 9mm wont even stay in the mag. The other gaps are easy to come buy now.

I just happen to have 1 40 round sitting on my desk and it will fit and stay in the mag. I dont think you will gain anything though, since a 12 round 40 mag will hold 9 45gap so vice versa it should hold 12.
