If I could build myself a Star Trek-style transporter, I'd beam crate-loads of XD's into the streets of London -- along with about 100 rounds of ammo to go with each.

That'll teach the UK to turn fascist.

+1. Don't do it man. Might as well give your personal info to the prince of Bolivia who's trying to get his money out of harms way by emailing the masses for help.

You can't sell a firearm on Craigslist http://www.craigslist.org/about/prohibited.items.html

It's a scam. I don't know why people continue to fall for it, but apparently they do.

You have to be smarter than this my friend.

Do you also respond to emails from Nigeria that want to share a million dollar lotto?

I'm sure you can find a FTF buyer or at least someone that will give you certified funds to ship to a FFL.

Don't do it.....................

I thought you couldn't own handguns in the UK.

like others said: it's a scam. anytime you're selling anything and the buyer offers you more than you're asking and will pay by check (ANY check) it's a total scam. they either will ask for a little cash back in return or they'll take the merchandise from you and you'll find out 2 weeks later the check is fake and lose the money and the merchandise.

also, don't sell a gun on craigslist. like others also said: you're asking for trouble and it's against their rules.

Yea. They offer you more money than you want, and the friend shows up on a weekend with a check that your bank will cash, only to later find out it is no good, is the usual incarnation of this scam.

hmm.. ill have to try this with the next guy that breaks out of prison looking for a gun..
