The magazine loader is the only part I use. I remember some time ago, there was a post where a guy mounted the XDGear holster in his vehicle under the dash for quick access.

I used all three items that came with my XD yesterday at the range. For just going out to the range to shoot at targets, it works REAL well. I put the mag holder right behind the holster on my right side and was able to holster the pistol with both extended magazine in the mag holder.

Inserting and removing the XD from the XD Gear holster takes concentration, but then it's not devised as a competition carry holster.

The mag loader is helpful. It keeps me from poking holes in my fingers. Loading three magazines at a time can wear out my fingertips pretty quickly.

Garbage? Not in my opinion. Top notch quality? Not by ANY stretch of the imagination. You get what you pay for and I think Springfield Armory knew what they were doing when they put the packaging together.

I've used the mag loader a few times, it's not bad.

As far as the holster goes, I've used it at the range a couple of times, but I am not very fond of it. The mag holder is ok for range use.

1. Holster and mag holder: Used them once at the range and put them back in the box. I didn't care for them even for range use.

2. Mag loader: Used is several times until I bought one that was made better. It also went back into the box.

+1 on the mag loader. The Mag Holster is cool too, but I usually leave my mags on the bench at the range or in my soft case.

Can't complain tho.. Props to Springfield for going the extra mile.

hi,
all you guys over there are very fortunate to have the additional holster and mag pouch for free, here in the philippines all you get along with the gun is the crappy plastic case with the spare magazine, a plastic cleaning rod and plastic bottle for the oil. the rest you have to buy. i'm currently using a fobus outside the waist holster for my hs40 tactical and planning to buy a double mag pouch as soon as save eough money. they don't come cheap here.
