Striker Roll Pin

WOW can't believe all the problems with the striker roll pin. Most of the vender's are selling 1/8 inch roll pins which will not work!! The folks in Croatia are on the metric system. The roll pin in the slide is 3mm by 16.30mm or in our speaking 3mm by 5/8 in. These roll pins cost less than $.05 each!! Can't believe all the scalping for a simple roll pin. When you purchase the 3mm by 16.30 roll pins you will notice a very large gap in them. take a pair or smooth jaw pliers and crimp the roll pin down to around .120 " and it will tap in just like it is suppose to. Some one like Springer Precision should get a stick of 3mm drill rod cut it to 5/8 inch crimp one end so it would drive in and end this problem with the roll pin once and for all. This would make a solid pin then no one would have problems removing it and it would last forever.

PS Use a 3/32 roll pin punch from the bottom and the roll pin will come right out.

I give them away, 3mm x 16mm. It is not worth my time to make a tapered solid pin as I have never had a replacement one break.

Try this site. They sell commercial items.

Search on Roll Pin, then select metric on left menu.

May be more in a pack than you want!

I get mine from McMaster when I order other things at work, so I can I can pretty much get the shipping free. When I send out five at a time I am spending more on postage than the pins. If you make a post "WSU Cougars Rule" or some other pro-Cougars post I'll send you out some.

Meanwhile the Cougars are sucking at football. The only positive thing I can say about Saturday's game is we sucked at a slower rate in the 4th quarter than the 1st quarter. We have a bye this Saturday and we are still 7 point underdogs.
