Finally got an XD again!
I was without an XD for well over a year. I picked the 9SC up this morning. Time to go clean. This is a pretty fresh gun. Check out the brass collection date.

I clean every gun I buy before hitting the range. That crap they put in the gun to lube is crap. Gotta take care of my baby.

You proud of that bag with the brass in it? I HATE that stupid Maryland law. Don't tell me TX has that dumb law too?

We don't have it here in Texas. Most use the brass collection date as a "born-on" date although it doesn't mean it was made that day. That's all. That's why it was in the picture.

Ah ok, they fire it after it is made then, so then you can kinda date the "birth" LOL

I gotta go check mine out, since I bought it used the state didn't need it- which makes the law even more moronic. But we all know liberals have 1 brain cell.
