XD9 service or SC?

I foolishly traded away my XD9 service, and now I want an XD again! I am thinking of getting the subcompact this time. Does anyone have any experiance shooting both of them? I know the service was pretty damn accurate, I just want to know if the subcompact is just as accurate or at least close.

Thanks!

My wife's XD9sc is very accurate out to 15-20 yards or so.

Carry and some range work. I did carry my service on the odd occasion.

I'd get the Sub! I have the XD9 in the 4" version, but the little sub-compact is my next purchase. I think it was just as accurate under 15 yds. and fits in your coat pocket or cargo shorts real easy, so I'm sure a holster is not an issue

I love my XD9SC! I have a .45 Service too. I like the "feel" of the Service a tad more but that is probably because I practive the XD9SC with the 10rd mag almost exclusivly since it will be my promary carry weapon so I think the Serive feels better because of the full lentgh grip and the slightly more heft. When i do use the 16rd mag with the SC it feels much better to me.

All that said, I'm not that noticably more accurate with the Service than I am with the SC. I shoot almost as good out to 20 yards with the SC.

I have the XD 9mm SC and I really love it, but it all depends on what you want it for. The 9mm SC is a perfect CCW, but may not be as accurate as the XD 9mm service or tac. The SC is good "for me at least" out to 15 yards.

I'd go with a subcompact. With the mag extensions, it feels like a service.

I have both... Both shoot very much the same, both just as accurate... I prefer the SC just because it's smaller size.

I too have both and honestly when you're shooting, you can't tell a difference.
