Frame Cleaner

What is a good aerosol cleaner that is safe on the frame? I use Powder Blast on the slide; however, I've been told that it will eat into the plastic.

I use either Hoppes No.9 or Outers Nitro Solvent in aerosol cans. Give the innards a good spray, brush what you can reach with an M-16 brush (or toothebrush), give it another good spray to flush it out and blow it out with canned "air" like what you use on your computer.

I find Mineral Spirits works great on everything but the bore.
The best thing about it is that it actually dries without an oily residue. And it won't harm plastic.

I use MPro 7 in the pump spray bottle. It is water based so there are no odors associated with petrolium based products. This stuff works great!
