XD teaches another lesson
So today was range day....
Once again we had a Glock 'preacher', and he is a good friend(if that's possible). SO we all carried all of our firearms to the table. XD9sc XD45s Buckmark 10/22 S&W 380 Bushmaster 223 Glock 9 compact Glock 9 longer than compact and my boss' collection of old stuff so lot's of stuff to shoot, and of course lot's of BS being spouted. Well, the Parris Island shooting instructor jumps on up and starts shooting the Glock compact at a cigarette box about 10 yards out. He took about 5 shots, and only hit it once. I said "HOLD YOUR FIRE!" he looked at me like "WTF?" I walked over and handed him my XD9sc and said "Similar size gun, same ammo, now take the same 5 shots" He did and hit it 5 times. NO surprise to me or my boss, so the guy turns to look our way, and just smiles and says "smartass, I'll trade ya" Of course the Glocks didn't get shot much after that..........

Hmmm... Paris Island instructor huh? Must have forgot that part in the lesson plan that talked about trigger control.

We are good friends, so I can tell him he sucks w/ pitsols........now w/ an AR... that's a whole 'nother story.

I have both Para and Kimber buddies that come with me to the range and shoot their 1911 pistols. In reality they can't hit the broadside of a barn from the inside, so I can't fault the guns alot (although the Para isn't that accurate). I'll shoot my 1911 when they're there and most always smoke them. They love my XD9. No haters there!
I've teased them in the past about me "schooling" them at "Springfield U" or I'll drop the occasionaly "Hey, wanna take another class at Springfield University this weekend?", when I want to go to the range and shoot.
