Biff, when i went to see them, the offices are on Dixie just north of "The General Store" on the same side of the road. Very unassuming facility. Not sure anything is actually mfg'd in Dayton, but that's where the corp. offices are. Pretty sure mfg still takes place in Mansfield, Iberia, and Stollard, where they started out as seperate companies before being merged under the Hi-Point umbrella.

Well unless your waist line is around your thighs you shouldn't worry about hi(low)-points.

funny i came across this thread...i just watched cops (daily on court tv). the only episode where they actually show a dead person, guy (gang banger) tried to rob an apt. armed, busted in a window and the owner popped him once and killed the bad guy. when the cops arrived they found the bad guy a few yards from where he was shot.....with a hi-point under his dead body.
guess that just proves the point..... |

MKS Supply is in Dayton. The main business office of Hi-Point. Its about 10 minutes from my apartment, if that.
They're a decent enough gun if you aren't putting your life on the line for it. I don't personally own one, but I've seen them used. They won't win a beauty contest, but they destroy pumpkins and beer cars as well as any other plinker. And they have a "No questions asked - Lifetime warranty". Our shooting group just for grins, sent them a proposal to become their corporate shooting team last week. Haven't heard back yet.

Man I can't believe how unfortunate you were to run into the only guy at a gunshow who does not know what he is talking about!
