Whops. Release slide with take down lever up.
I just got done cleaning my xd9 tactical and I accidentally release the slide while the take down lever was up. Has any one ever done this before? If so did it hurt the gun? That was probably a lot of stress on the striker because that was the only thing holding the slide on.

naw itll be ok, just remember to do it gently otherwise it could scratch the slide
