Ported XDs - still having issues?
I read a while back that many people were experiencing varies issues due to the ported slides/barrels on their XDs.
I am curious as to whether the current models are experiencing the same problems, or if they have ironed them out? Thanks in advance!

From what I have heard, it is mainly the 9MM ported models that have had the problems. I have a .40 ported and have not had any problems with it. I have put several thousand rounds through it with no failures.

Does anyone have any measured numbers regarding power loss in a ported handgun in any caliber?
There IS power loss, there has to be, but is is significant?
