XD 40 Sights
What direction do the sights come off the XD 40? I have started removing them and the front sight will not move, trying to move it left to right. Looking at them from the Back.

Right (ejection port side) to left as you're looking at it from the rear. And just the reverse to install.

XD SIGHTS
Thank you. The Front sight is now removed. I bought Meprolight Night Sights and there instructions for my XD was for the Rear Sight to move from Right to Left and the Front Sight From Left to Right. As you know that did not work. I banged things up a little but it is out and now I can install the new sights.
