xd9 SC Magazine problem

I finally shot my XD9SC for the first time today, and it did great w/ lots of different types of ammo. I did have one problem though, one time one of the rounds got stuck in the magazine, and the spring was unable to push them up. The round was wedged in there, once I got it unstuck, it worked flawlessly the rest of the day. Is there anything I may have done to cause this? Or what would cause that to happen?

If you drop your magazines on the ground for speed, the lips on them bend in and then causes rounds to become jammed like you described. Just get a pliers and bend them back a little.

Should fix the problem.

It's possible that the OAL (overall length) of the cartridge that got stuck was too long. What ammo got stuck?

Not likely that it was too long but do you still have the cartridge?

nope, I guess that would have made sense to keep it/take a look at it. after I got the spring to pop back up, I was so happy, I just fired them all off.
