Where can I get a magazine spring plate?
I have an XD-9SC magazine with a Pierce extension. I noticed today that the extension was sitting WAY forward on the magazine. I tried to insert it in both of my XD-9SC's and it wouldn't go. I disassembled it and found that someone had replaced the stock spring base with a metal one of unknown origin and its base retaining dent was not centered like the normal SA spring bases. I struck out searching for just this part. Anyone know where I can get one? I hate to toss a good magazine for lack of this small part. While I'm at it, how about a lead on a stock base plate also?
Thanks, Tom |

Send me a PM with your address. I have about 7 mags, a couple with Pearce extensions. I have a few base plates lying around. I'll mail you one. |

Good luck getting one from SA. I just made one from thick black plastic and used a little allen head screw as the center nipple.

If I were you, I'd consider the magazine gone. Buy a new one to replace it and post the remains of this one on the Trading Post. Someone else might need magazine parts.
