XD40 Early Slide Lock?
I came across this article from 2004 and was wondering if this "problem" has been corrected in newer guns (haven't had time to check my 40SC). I have had a couple of slide lock backs mid-mag, but I attributed it to technique (and maybe being a lefty?)
Problem was supposedly rounds clipping the slide release as they went by. Fix was to file down the slide release nub that the mag follower actuates. http://www.xd-hs2000.com/longsliderelease.html |
