I use the full-size Pachmayr with finger grooves. I like it a lot better than the Hogue I had, it feels thicker than the hogue and doesn't have the palm swells.

Yeah skateboard tape or "Safety walk" tape by 3M works great I'd advise against wrapping the back of the grip though on the draw if you get a crappy grip and you have grip tape on the back strap you can't slide the back of your hand around the grip to reposition, its best to do the sides and front strap, the front strap is what catches the most pressure anyway...

Hogue Handall - It's OK, nothing to shout about though.
For most situations, it's definitely a better/faster grip than stock, but honestly find shots tend to be consistantly more accurate w/o it. ![]() Hope this helps, if any.
