XD price check on aisle 3 please!
I know it's late, but I hope you guys are still up!!
Need some input on how "fair" these prices are at a local dealer. XD Sub-Compact 3" 9mm all black stock 3 dot sights $509 + tax. XD .45 4" all black stock 3 dot sights $549 + tax XD 9mm 4" all black stock 3 dot sights $545 + tax This is his sticker price and I haven't haggled cost at all yet. This is a range dealer and they give you three months of free range time with each purchase. Hardly free if the cost of the gun is way out of wack. To me that is not as important as the bottom line on the gun, because that is what the SPA will see! |

Those all are a bit high from what I have seen. Check Buds for reference.

I'm pretty sure it's going to vary by location, too... as well as when the gun was purchased. In some places $480 might be expensive and in others $525 might be cheap

I understand the differences by areas due to demand in that area and depending on what level the dealer is and what incentives they may have. I was just trying to ballpark the prices. I used Bud's as I have a friend that works there. My issue with buying online is the shipping cost and transfer fees which add up to about $50 ($25 ship/$25 transfer). I do have to pay taxes on my end too, so online is only about a $20 difference. Now if the gun is $75 cheaper online then it's worth it to me.
Since they are a range their big pitch is the 3 month free membership at the range. I guess there is some value to that if I went once a week for 12 weeks at just $9 a session that's another $108 that I'll surely be spending and I believe the membership is unlimited time, so I could do hour sessions if I wanted. I think I'll try to beat him up some on the Sub-Compact since that is what I want NOW and then order the 9 and .45 from Buds since they have an option I want. I paid $475 for my 40SC here in Minnesota. With the range fees it don't seem like too bad of a deal.
