Wow $420 is a steal compared to prices I see around here. Of course, I live close to the city so that doesn't help...

My XD9 5" tactical cost $504.00 out the door. This does not include the DROS paperwork of $65.00 in California and all the money I will be spending on ammo

Ok, I just bought (ordered) a new XD9 4" barrel with the Heinie Tritium Straight Eight night sights.
Paid $549 which included a 3 month range membership that allows me to shoot whenever I want for as long as I want and store discounts. The range membership was a $108 value if I only went once a week for the next three months. I really wanted the sights and they are a $95 upgrade through Springfield plus shipping both ways (about $150 total). So, all things considered I don't think it was that bad of a price. I'll have pics tomorrow when it arrives. Last edited by Magzilla; 09-05-2007 at 09:23 AM. Reason: spelling |

$519 +DROS for XD45 Compact in CA at Reed's annual gun sale. Cheapest I could find without ordering/shipping through an FFL.

Like most have mentioned, those prices are high. I'm in Northern CA, and I've seen 9mm Service in black for $419, and I got my 9mm Tactical for $499 ($567 out the door).

$619 + 4.7% tax here in the anti-gun state of Hawaii for an XD 40 Tactical.
Sucks living on an island! |
