New XD40 service. Some questions
My purchase permit finally came today. I just picked up my brand new XD40 service from the dealer an hour ago!

Being as it is my first sidearm I have a few questions for you veterans.

How many rounds do they shoot through it at the factory for testing? The reason I ask is that there is some *very light* wear marks on the ejection port. The marks are only on the top of the port, and there are none on the barrel. Is this something I need to worry about? Or is it just normal wear and tear from people racking the slide back and forth at the gun shop? (I know I racked the slide like 25 times when I was looking at it...lol)

What kind of holster do you guys recommend? I am not going to be using it for CCW. Mainly just a sidearm to accompany me and my deer rifle during hunting season, and for recreational shooting. I might join a shooting league when I become proficient with it.
