XD9 Barrel Wear On Top and Bottom

I know that you always get some sort of smiley on the top of the barrel but I noticed that even the underside is showing wear.

Also when in battery the barrel is closer to the slide hole on the bottom with a noticable gap up top.

Is everyone's like this?

That gap musxt be normal. Both my XD45 Service and my XD9SC have that gap.

As for barrel finish wear, that seems normal too,

Without pics it's difficult to offer an opinion. From your description though it sounds normal to me.

Its normal...its a tilting breech firearm. the breech of the barrel moves up to lock into the slide, so the muzzle slightly tilts down. When the slide opens, the breech tilts down to unlock from the slide, the muzzle slightly tilts up. Lock the slide back and you'll see what I mean....
