Our trigger bar will allow you to adjust both the take up (which would move the trigger closer to the grip) and the overtravel, which also largely controls the reset distance.

Bob about how much take up will it remove?
Do the trigger bars require fitting in order to get the reset or trigger safety working?

Yes. We have the 45ACP kits in stock now and are due to get another batch of the 9/40 kits in tomorrow.

Will you have more than a few? I checked once and they were in stock, sent a query about the kit and by the time I got an answer they were out of stock.

The trigger bar, when used with the sear from Springer, will allow you to remove just about all of the take up. The limiting factor is the trigger safety lever. If you are willing to modify the trigger safety you can get it to remove just about all of it. If not, you can still get rid of about 80% of it. Also as you reduce the amount of take up you have to make sure the striker block is getting out of the way and if not, take a little material off of it.

The trigger bar does require fitting but it's pretty straight forward and easy to do. I believe someone has posted some pictures of the process that really explain it well.

IMO... It would be better to get the Canyon Creek trigger job. You can specify what pull weight you want and the pre-travel is removed.

I agree. If you have the funds, a full-house trigger job is the best path to happiness.
