Thanks, that doesn't look so bad now. I thought I'd have to start grinding the back of the triggerbar.

When one does that to the trigger bar, does the trigger safety still work?

I have short fingers and wide/thick hands. For me to reach the trigger stock and place my finger tip in the correct spot, if improved would be nice...

If added to the the area in the picture where the screw is it will not effect the trigger safety. Remember that epoxy might come off, your best bet is to buy a moded trigger bar if you don't feel comfortable doing the work yourself.

The mod will effect sear release so be carefull and test it.

Does it change where the trigger will naturally reset to?

Basically, I want the trigger half way between stock and resting where the sear starts to move.

That'd be pretty comfortable for me...

Would placing epoxy (or other suitable material for testing) where the screw is, do that, or, for what I'm looking for, is that somewhere else?

No the trigger bar will only effect over travel reset will stay the same. In order to get the advantage of a short reset and over travel you need the sear. The sear effect pretravel (the amount of travel before the trigger engages the sear).

If you only install a trigger bar you will have a long pretravel but once the sear disengages the striker you will have very little overtravel.

So, what is effected with just the trigger bar, if I understand this correctly, is that you pull the trigger (and hold it), it goes bang, and as you let up on the trigger, the amount of distance you need to cover for it to reset is lessened?

Personally, I'm not interested in that, as much as I am interested in having the trigger more close to the grip, as if already slightly pulled in.

No kits out that do that. Maybe Bob's trigger bar will help a little but I'm not sure how much.

The trigger bar mod screw shortens the amount of travel backwards after the sear is released the the gun goes boom.

The sear mod shortens the amount of trigger movement as you start to pull the trigger in order to get the gun to go boom but does not move the trigger closer to the back it causes the sear to engage sooner.

if you get the trigger parts it will break eairier but the trigger will rest in the same spot as with the stockone so if you want it lighter or to break sooner get the kit but if you dont want those things dont get it

this is how the parts work in unison, the only arrow that is misleading is the one behind the sear, the sear moves down but the arrow shows the sear moving up to reset. hope that makes sense.
