GALCO Matrix
Has anyone used the GALCO Matrix? If so, what was your overall impression? Has it held up? Is it comfortable? Is it of typical GALCO quality? Thanks.

No, but I want one. I'm just waiting on someone to buy one and report. Why don't you take one for the team, and let us all know? I did buy a Blackhawk holster for IDPA, and couldn't be happier with it. Big improvement over the factory holster.

You tried which, Rooster? The Matrix, or the Blackhawk?

I have been using the Galco Matrix for about two months now. It is nice, light, and does hold well to the body. I haven't had any problems drawing it - it draws much smoother than my DeSantis MiniSlide. For $20, you can't beat it! Besides, the snaps make it a snap to put on and take off.

I saw the above review of the 7X version of the Matrix, but what about the 5X version?
FYI... it's made of the same material, however it appears to be a full coverage, paddle holster. Cost is ~a tad more than the 7X.
