size question: XD9SC versus Glock 26
turns out the Alessi Bodyguard isn't made for the XD line, so I thought I'd see if any of you fine fellows knew how the size of the XD9 sub compared to the G26.
thaks!

If your question relates to buy a Alessi Bodyguard holster made for the Glock 26 to use for an XD9SC the XD is a little bigger. They are close enough in size that it shouldn't make a difference. The Bodyguard is a semi molded holster that is not a detail molded as some other custom holsters so it may work. The problem areas will be along the sight and the trigger guard area. I would think your safest bet would be one with the pull through snap as opposed to the thumb break.

Having just tested out the G27 and the XD40 SC the G27 had a slightly shorter grip, but had a longer slide. Overall they are virtually the same size, just different in shape. The G26 and XD9SC should be the exact same relationship.
