New XD fan

I work with a guy that is getting into handguns. We spent our lunch hour today at 417 Guns in Springfield comparing an XD9 Service and an M&P 9mm. I am working on convincing him to go XD. He has become quite a reader on this forum doing research. Help me convince him to join our group. I am sure he will be a good participant. So join me in telling Craig he needs an XD over an M&P. Thanks..................

Craig, I'm all for having another XD owner amongst us, but be sure to choose the firearm that fits you best.

(sorry Phil )

Thats why he is having so much trouble deciding. He likes the feel of both of them really well. The guy at the counter told him to get both. Several of us from work got together at Bass Pro Shops shooting range and let him shoot a wide array of different guns and calibers so he could make an informed decision.

Found a really sweet deal on a used Smith and Wesson .357 while I was hanging out at the gun shop today. I may have to go get a permit and buy it. Expand my horizions a bit.
