Thinking about the 45 over the 40
Currently have an HS2000 and XD40 SC.
Love both. I like the balance of the full size but always wanted more oomph. I love the 40SC but wanted more capacity, so I've had my eye on the 40 full sized for quite some time. I liked the fact that I could share magazines and some holsters. Then I stumbled upon the fact that the 45 is only marginally larger AND holds one more round than the 40. I think I'm sold. I'll have to buy all new holsters but I think I can live with that.

Strictly on a personal preferance I like the 45 over the 40. Also I like the Tactical best. While the SC is significantly smaller then the Tactical the Tactical and Service are so close in size I would not buy another Service.

Go with the .45ACP...you won't regret it.

I love my XD 45 Tactical...to me its just simply the best...if I could only have one XD it would be the 45 tactical.

Same holsters will fit them all.

I second that. The .45 is the more accurate of the two. The recoil is also easier to get grooved into as well.
