I can imagine it's difficult to design something for a frame with no grip panels or attachment points. Looks like a strapon. Hopefully the final product will be more appealing.

I'm with Jman, it looks like it doesn't belong. Like a wart on a super models nose!

If they can clip it on the "beavertail", why not just leave it at that part? I don't see how/why it needs the extra portion that extends down and around the grip. It looks clunky and horrible. The one for the Glock LOOKS like it is supposed to be there. The one for the XD should be just as simple.

S&W MP .. it looks like it belongs. So much better than the one for the XD.

I have 3 requirements before I get one. It has to be comfortable. It has to fit into a standard holster. It has to work. I couldn't care less how it looks. I'm amazed at how many fashion critics we have here.

I own 2 sets of CT grips for other guns I have and have lots of friends with them. They are comfy, fit a normal holster and do work. I would expect nothing less from CT with the XD version.

And I agree with the person who said they are not fond of the idea of replacing an internal component like the guide rod to have a laser. A buddy of mine relayed a story about an acquaintence that was writing an article for a gun magazine and was testing the LaserMax system and then started having feed problems. My buddy mentioned to the author that he should should swap back to the previous guide rod and miraculously their issues went away. No idea if that article ever came out after that mishap.
