Guide Rod?!

Well I've been using a DGR with various spring weights and was at the range and thought, "Hey I'm going to try that old one again." There was a noticeable difference. The original was much better feeling to me. My shots were more accurate and recoil was perceived to be less. Anyone else have this experience?

This is NOT a DGR knock. I know some love them, but it just didn't do it for me. Back to the original for this XD9 service guy.

I have never really seen the need to do anything with it anyway...I do very well with mine, so if it doesn't need to be fixed, then leave it alone, right!?!?!?!?!

I am not bashing and crashing DGR either, only stating my position on the topic.

I prefer lighter springs than stock, I dont like a pushy gun, I like it snappy.

Even I am indifferent for recoil feel in my 9mm Service, I just wanted a different spring for my XD40. Some do feel a difference in the 9mm so it still has a purpose, and can be used with a 18# spring to keep the same recoil feel, but I know what you are saying.
