Concern over my new XD9 mags

As most of ya have seen, I bought a new XD-9 Sub last week. I have been loading and unloading my mags to work the springs as I haven't been able to get to the range yet. When the mags are loaded, both the 10 and 16 round, they rattle. Pick it up and shake and I can hear something rattling in the mag itself. Anyone else's done this?

Normal at times.

Think of it it these terms: anything under pressure will eventually begin to rattle.

they just happen to stack a little funny sometimes and rattle a little... Won't bother function at all, but if you just don't want them to rattle when you carry or something just unload and reload them...

yeh I never noticed it on my xd-40 sub that I had before. the 10 round mag doesn't do it when it's inserted and it's not even full, can't get the last one in . i'll wait and see what happens in a few weeks.

it happens, i smack the mag against my shoe, palm or something not to hard to seat all the rounds to the rear if they still rattle i pull out a round and do it again, and reinsert the round.

they didn't do it at first but after some use it happens now and then.

Well for starters, the XD40 subcompact mags are 9 rounders, not 10 .

Aside from that, I've never had a rattle problem.

smack the mag on the "primer" side...as said above, this helps seat the bullets all the way back in the mag. this usually gets rid of the rattle for me.
