Are bi tone (Stainless) XD's being discontinued?
I looked at a bi tone XD9 this weekend and really liked it. However, I overheard a guy at the gun shop commenting that there aren't going to be many of the stainless ones around because Springfield was discontinuing them.
Any truth to that? |

um, I highly doubt it since the GAP's are coming out in "stainless" bitone... well maybe from the custom shop. But I HIGHLY doubt that guy knows anything

The bi-tone is very popular choose, I don't see them discontinuing it.

Bitones really aren't stainless are they - isn't the stainless look just a finish?

Good news that they aren't being discontinued. I called the local gun shop and they had a brand new stainless bi-tone in 9mm in stock with 2 hi caps and a case for $529.
$529...high? low? I have no idea what I should be paying. |

$529 sounds a bit high, unless you live in CA or NJ or something.
