Another XD
I just put a .40 sc in layaway today. Vances had a great sale on it. I got 1 9rd and one 12rd with the sleeve and they threw in the XD holster. Got it for $419. Going tomorrow to pick it up. Now my .40 service will have a little brother..........

Good deal! Vances' prices have been on the up and up it seems. Last time I was in, they had the standard XD9 service going for 499!
I'm gonna run up there today and put one on layaway if they have one on sale. My 21st b-day approaches... |

The 4" is also on sale for $419. When I got my 4" I paid $435 for it. That was 2 years ago. Prices have gone up.......

I just went down to Vance's this evening and put my XD9 service on layaway!
 Glad to see they had one on sale! When I went in before, I think it was just an OD .40 and a bi-tone on sale. They had a much better selection this time. I noticed that the sale XD9 service I was looking at had a small nick in the finish. I mentioned it and the guy and he gladly brought out another from the back. totally NIB, still all greasy. I'll take it!! Interestingly enough, it's the promo deal package with holster, but Vance's only includes 2 mags. I noticed they had a nice selection of XD mags hanging on the back wall, in quite less-than-official looking packaging. I guess they harvested one mag from each promo case to sell individually. Oh well. After all the promotion is over. Can't wait! |

Just back from picking it up.
I also got a mag extension while I was there and some Speer Gold Dot's for the .380. They guys there are great! I bought mine from Keith. Now I have to go to the range..... I bought a Galco belly band a few weeks ago. I actaully can wear my 4" comfortably with it. Now I can have both SC and 4" on me at once!!!!!! Whooot
