Talking I saw my 9mm XDSC...now the 10 day wait

My wifes gun came in, so we go there to get the DOJ satisfied and start the 10 day waiting period....

While there they checked to see if my xdsc came in......and there it was!!!! I thought it would be a month or so.....

So now I am starting my own 10 day wait..........

At least I got to hold it!!!!! Boy does it feel nice!!!!

wait, wait, wait, wait..............has it been 10 days yet????

I thought it was bad here in Minnesota "The State Where Nothing Is Allowed", but at least I we can pick up our guns with our carry permints, and or permints to buy from the state.

Having my permit is nice... walk in, empty handed (we'll say so for this demonstration)... walk out shortly after with a new adventure.

Think I'll stay in Texas, I'd planned to move to NC, SC, or TN, but I've heard too many horror stories. My first XD purchase took little more than a phone call. If you have a CCW, you don't even have to have a phone call.

Yeah... because if I recall my WA permit is valid down in NC (which I wouldn't mind going to visit someday).

I'm in NC and with my permit it's just a matter of doing the paper work and I think they made a phone call but that was it.. in and out in maybe 15 minutes when I got my markIII. Rode with a buddy the other day to get his " Evil Black Rifle" and same process... pretty easy!

Living in an Anti-2nd Amendment state has got to be a PITA.

No problems in TN. I can walk into any gun store any time and walk out with a gun...provided I have the funds to pay for it that is. Handgun Carry Permit not a problem either.
