New addition to the collection, XD-9SC

I just picked up an XD-9 subcompact. I went in looking for something small and cheap (around $300) to carry concealed. I was thinking a cz-83 or a Bursa .380. But of course, I got there and they had a black XD-9 subcompact on the shelf. I held it and it felt perfect. The deal-maker was when they salesman was showing it to me, he noticed that it had trijicon sights on it, but the price didn't reflect that. I told him I understood if he had to price it up at the "real" price, but he said that wasn't how they did business there. Great gun store. This is the second time I've bought from them, and they have made me a dedicated customer. A lot of the shops around here are full of idiots and/or jerks that act like they're stooping to help a customer.

So, out the door, the total was $608 (including tax and 2 passes to shoot at their indoor range - one for me, one for my husband).

I'm stoked, and can't wait to get out on the range. Need to find a sitter for the kiddos.

Oh, and the 9mm fits perfectly in my crossbreed holster for my .45!

Pics to follow... (as soon as I get them loaded onto photobucket).

ETA: pics

My "model" aka hubby showing off the crossbreed holster.

Now you need to change your signature tag. I would love to be able to pick up a XD 9mm in any set up but they are very difficult to find around here.
Have fun breaking her in

Yeah, they had quite a few XDs in stock, I was surprised.

Congrats on the new addition. I too picked up a new XD-9SC a week ago to go along with my XD-45 and I love it. Mine has the Heinie Slant Pro Straight 8 sights and I managed to talk the dealer at the local gunshow down to $500 OTD. So far I have put 600 rounds of WWB and about 20 Gold Dot's through it and it has been flawless. I ordered a Comp-Tac Infidel that also shares duty with my XD-45 and fits great. I should be receiving my Crossbreed Quik Clip in a couple more weeks and hopefully they will both fit in that as well. Enjoy!!
