Congrats. Cleaning kit is essential. Secure storage/lock too if you have lil ones running around. Good ear and eye protection.

Like atmiller and slugger6 said, ammo, lots n lots of ammo. You'll get addicted shooting your new XD. Wally World has a great sale on CCI Blazer Brass right now. Pick up some now.
