Can anyone tell me if it's ok to shoot lead through the XD?

i got these .40 lead reloads i got from the range...jammed my XD twice...so did some other shooters...maybe it was just the type we had...i just shoot FMJ WWB

It might have been the bullet shape or the OAL being to long for the bullet shape.

got over 15,000 lead reloads out of my xd40 and about 75,000 out of my glock 22 lead is fine in both guns

xd40 has gone over 3,000 lead reloads with out cleaning

glock 22 went over 5,000 lead reloads with out cleaning


glock and the xd barrels look about the same when the same amount of ammo has been fired through them very little leading

Lead is fine in the XD. My only problem has been with some semi wad cutter FTEs. Round nose is OK.

I had some trouble with my first SWCs I shortened the OAL and the problem went away.
