XD 9mm and 40 S&W Compact?
Guys,
Does anyone know any details about the 9mm and 40 Compacts coming out? The 45 Compact is only about 1/4" shorter than the 9mm compact (3/4" shorter than the 45 Service), so I don't know what they're going to be doing to produce the 9 and 40 Compacts. If it's the same size as the 45 Compact, it's not much difference than the Service. And no, I'm not talking about the SC. If I had to guess, the 9 and 40 Compacts will be SC grips with service slides - much like a factory grip chop. Any Springfield insiders out there with the inside scoop?
