+P ammo ?'s and refinishing ?'s

Can I use +p ammo in my XD9sc manufactured in 03?
I got it used and cant find anything in the paperwork i have.
also,the slide is showing some wear and would like info on
refinishing the slide.I am thinking duracoat.

Yes you can use +p ammo in your XD. I saw a thread a while back about the same thing. The guy called SA and they said it would be fine.
I refinished 2 of my XD'S. You can use Duracoat, Guncoat and I think there is a few others. I used Guncoat on mine and love the results. Go for it!

does the entire slide need to taken apart to use duracoat?
