My service will probably see service
I've got a 9mm Service model, and I may be able to use it for my new job. I just started training at Loomis & Fargo, so I'll be carrying a firearm. In training yesterday, I asked the loss prevention manager about the XD, and he said it should be fine. So after a 90 day period, I should be able to take the transition training for a semi-automatic. I'm excited, this means I wont need to buy another gun for work. That will leave other money for the .22 I want to buy.

I work as a Vault Clerk for Loomis Fargo. I've got to say the XD seems to be the most popular pistol in the place. I personally carry my Gen1 HS2000 to work. I breeze through qualification every year with it.
A tip about LFC for ya...careful not to step in the bull**** |

KOL it appears that you have read my mind. Another good thing is I should be able to use the firearms training class to meet the requirment for getting a concealed carry permit.

suggestion for the .22
get a ruger 22/45 4in it will have roughly the same weight / length / grip angle as your XD trigger pull and recoil will be different but its def the best out there to practice point shooting on the cheap (.22) also if you are running stock sights.. 3 white dots painted on the ruger will keep that mental picture practice when u shoot the xd Last edited by BeardXXXd; 03-09-2007 at 09:07 PM. |
