How do I get this done to my XD?

Saw that and like the design and ported barrel. Probably a concept idea but none the less, I like it! |

The XD V10 is a standard model, available at most dealers. If you want your XD ported in a similar way, Mag-na-port in MI can do it for you.
http://www.magnaport.com/ If you are looking for your slide to be cut, I know that Canyon Creek and NHO can do it for you. ![]() OS

I called springfield and got someone who sounded like they did not have a clue when I asked them if they made a ported XD 9mm 4" All that aside, she probably didden't know how to use the fancy website over the in-ter-net.... sigh
I asked her if I could buy the slide and the barrel to which she said no, but I could talk to the custom shop and they could do that to my gun and would cost me more than the gun itself... Shaking my head in disgust because what is so simple, sell the slide and the barrel, is so complicated by policy and poor business practice. I then asked her how long they have been making the v10 and she said for quite awhile. Now mabye it's just me, mabye I didden't delete my cache on my browser, but I swear a few months ago I went on their website, and did not see a v10 listed?! In closing I told her the website needs to be more informative and is difficult to find what your looking for, to which she replied, I don't know anything about that. I'll look that company up that cuts the slides and/or magnaport. It was just something I was kicking around in my head to "spice" up the look of the gun. Can't believe the dip$h*t's that answer the phone there, and they can't sell you a barrel or a slide..... WTF is that!!!!! |

I had mine cut similar to what you see in the Magna Port picture. Send it to Canyon Creek, the work is great.

Canyon Creek calls it Slide Lightning, look on his website at the XD Order form. Then call Rich at CC and discuss how many cuts you want depending on the length of your slide. It's only $75............

+1 on Canyon Creek. The factory ported breaks a lot across the top of the slide between the port cuts.
