So it looks like I'll be selling my 9mm bitone service and getting a .40 SC OD green. My question is, I can get it from a local FFL for about $515... So am I getting ripped or is this inline with other prices? The reason I'm asking is that Gander Mountain is charging $500 or so for just blued .40 SC... Does anyone know where I can get one for a better price?

Sounds like a reasonable price to me. They are going for a little more then that down here in Northern Virginia.

Gander Mntn near me (Greensboro, NC) has the od green XD40SC for $499 also.

Hey Vtwin, I recently got my XD40SC @ Gander Mtn, here in Binghamton NY, for $499 with the XDGear kit. Two 9rnd mags, holster, dual clip holder, speed loader, safety lock, and barrel brush. It was the best price around. Beat online order and FFL. Make sure you get it with the XDGear kit. Dude tried to sell it to me for $499 w/o it, sure enough he found it a few moments later..

I would say that is a reasonable price in my area as well. Just get it if you want one, they will likely only get more expensive when buying one new.
