entreprise sights?

After handling many different pistols with many different sights, I decided I would like to get a ghost ring sight.

The only one I can find is here: http://www.entreprise.com/SpringfieldXD.htm

Does anyone have these? pics? any input on this brand? Any input on ghost rings in general? Obviously, I would be looking at the tritium front and rear.

any other manufacturers I should look into?

All help appreciated!

As long as you're clear that they're not legal for Competition.

For that money you could go with the regular Trijicon's, Meprolights or the TFO. But if its fashion over fuction that you want, its your choice

Goodluck, post a report on good they are if you do get those.

thanks

What the heck was that all about? Did it ever occur to you that they may meet his needs (not yours)?

Rob's right. Ghost ring sights are a strict learning curve. They are better left on rifles and shotguns.

One reason being that the ghost ring on a rifle is much closer to the eye than when used on a pistol. The sight picture is quite different as you can't quite "look" through the ghost ring like you can when mounted on a stocked weapon.

At least that's my .02 worth.

.02 well spent. Ghost ring sights have there place and it is not on a pistol.

I have a ghost ring sight on one of my cheap pistols, and I find it quite easy to aquire my target. One must remember that not all eyes are created equal, and what doesn't or 'should not' work sometimes does.
