Question Why Not A High Cap .40?

If an XD .45 can carry 13+, why not a .40 that can carry 14+?

I saw a post on here where a guy had a high cap. 40 cal magazine. It held I believe 30 rds.(not for sure) but it stuck way out of the pistol.(not very concealable but probably fun for the range)

Yeah... I have seen alot of after market mags that hold excessive amounts... look at this one for the 1911!! It holds 40 rounds. I would immagine that you can find anything like this for the XD if you look hard enough...

Reliable rumor has it that SA will be coming out with a .40 based on the XD45 frame in the next year. That'll get ya probably 15 rounds of 40, 18-19 with mag extensions.

The moment it's announced, I'm on it.
