Whatever is comfortable to you and is safe should be the key. If you like to carry it that way and are proficient with it, go for it! They make some awesome SOB holsters!

I've never had any experience with a SOB holster, but I hear you can mess up your back of you fall on it.

Yeah but how often do you fall on it? Just like if you use thunderwear... you better not fall on it!!

I hear the fall thing quite a bit, but honestly I can't think of a time I ever fell in a manner that it would be a problem.

The other draw back I hear is that the draw is slower and the longer movement can be interrupted by the BG easier.

Unless you carry open in the 3 o'clock position, there are going to be drawbacks to any concealed carry.

I carry SOB occasionally and like it very much. Go for it.

I have carried SOB before and didn't seem to mind it that much. You do need to be careful about bending over and things like that. It is much easier to pring SOB then strong side. For overfall comfort I have to say that the strong side belt holster seems to be my preference. As far as falling flat on your back that is hard to do unless you live in an area with a lot of snow then it happens to people all the time.

You can injure your back just by falling or sleeping in a weird position. I consider that one certainly plausible but highly unlikely.

I used to carry SOB and it was comfy enough but I didn't like how it printed all the time. Try drinking from a water fountain with a weapon in the small of your back. You either look stupid and conspicuous bending at the knees or you let it print like a mofo or you don't drink.

I switched to a strong-side carry and am very pleased with it. The nice thing is that my CTAC can be used in either position equally well.
