After a month of waiting for my IL foid card, and mandatory 72 hour waiting period, I finally get to pick up my XD-9. As of sundy the 13th, I will be the very proud owner of a brand new XD-9 w/ trijicon night sights. The store I bought it at closes at 5pm, and I can pick it up at 4:05pm, so I will not get the chance to shoot it. I will however bet a discount on anything I buy at the time of pick up. Any sugestions? I know they don't have any magazines in stock but I am going to ask if I can order them and still get the discount. I was thinking i would like a surefire tac light, and maybe a few other accessories. let me know your opinions.

Welcome, well I can tell you what I have.
-Pachmayr 5 pack slam pads
-Magloc Magwell
-Don's guide rod and spring #18
-Surefire X200 Weapons light
-Gun Kote on slide
-3 xd40 hi-cap mags.
-XD Gear tactical holster
all on my XD40 V10 and in the process of getting amerglo night ring sights, grip tape, and either a Bar sto or EFK stainless barrel. So there is a few ideas to ponder.

Illinois is cool except for those guns laws. It takes me 5 minutes to buy a Pistol in OKC.

Congrats, I too am playing the waiting game I have untill Friday the 18th. Items to think of Slip on grip? Holster, ammo, as much as your budget affords.
