Get the new .45ACP 4" bbl. compact for carrying....same bbl. length as your 9mm service, but short grip to hide much easier....comes with mag. grip extension as well, so you can have a .45ACP service. You can have 2 .45's for the price of one. Then you will have your 9, your carry .45, and your service .45. They will go well with your 9mm.

Semi-Auto Pistol, Shotgun (choice), Semi-Auto Rifle, Revolver, continue in that order. Seems to work out.

Currently, I am in the Semi-Auto pistol phase of my four step program. I now believe god made my mind 'a solution averse'. Sig 220, XD45c, RIAc, SPR 1911, Taurus pt145, et al.

I submit to the forum I am leaning SIG, however; I have never had a day I knew it all.

ANY1911 will do!

+1 on a .357 revolver. A 2" is very concealable, and you can shoot the cheaper 38s for punching holes. Taurus' are not bad for the money.

The XD45 Compact is a consideration as well.
